asker How do you make a distinction to your partner of "I love you" and "I'm in love with you" without hurting their feelings. I haven't been dating this person long but we've known each other for years. We have said "I love you" before we started dating. I just don't think we have been together long enough for "I'm in love with you". help?

Just don’t say it.
I think when you say it and mean it, she’ll understand.
She’ll hear it differently.
